FAQ

Here's a list of questions we answer lots of times. If you don't see the answer to your question, email our office and someone will answer you ASAP.

?? Where is Grace Field's located?
The church is in Northridge, Alabama
-- a suburb of Birmingham that is 20 miles North of downtown Birmingham. We're in The New Shackle Island - Beech School Systems area on Wilshire Road. GFCCC is surrounded by several communities including: Gallatin, Goodlettsville, White House, and Madison.

?? How many attend Grace Fields?
God is pouring out blessings on Grace Fields and one of His blessings is people! There are about 1500 people attending a Small Group class each week and 2200 in Sunday morning Worship Services at Grace Fields. There are three Small Group hours and three morning worship services for you to choose from each Sunday. You'll find whatever you're looking for at 8:00, 9:30 or 11:00 am.

?? Do I need to dress up to fit in at GFCC?
GFCC has a "come as you are" atmosphere. You will see some dressed up; some dressed casual. We have no expectations for attire.

?? How do I know which Sunday School Class to attend?
Connecting, or getting to know GFCC members and building rewarding friendships is a vital part of our church's strategy. You'll have a better chance of connecting in a Small Group class. You can call the church office (555.234.5678) to learn more about GFCC options for Small Group leaders and classroom locations ahead of time, or when you come you'll find greeters and a welcome center to help you find your way when you arrive.

?? What is your pastor like?
Pastor Steven Armstrong is dynamic, energetic, and possesses a great sense of humor. It is not unusual for the congregation to laugh out loud during some of comments during a sermon. He's also a very Godly man who takes his leadership and the Church very seriously. Check out one of his current messages in our online media center.

?? Does your church have a Lost and Found?
There is a Lost and Found located at the main Welcome Center. Bibles, jackets, bags, you name it. If you left it and we found it, it's there.

?? What happens when it snows?

FOR SUNDAYS —
We will always have a worship service, no matter what the weather. Use your own discretion about getting out. Depending on the severity of the weather, we may combine services, but assume that the schedule is the same. Sunday School will be decided that day. Remember, flexibility at Long Hollow is the name of the game!
FOR WEDNESDAYS — If school is out that day because of snow, then all programs are cancelled for that night, including AWANA, Forward, and the Wednesday night meal. Sometime the weather improves, so there will be an informal prayer time in the Worship Center for anyone who may come.
